Ample anxiety and curiosity can be felt all over Imo state as the Imo State Stakeholders meeting holds on Tuesday, 4th of January 2022, at the newly renovated Sam Mbakwe Exco Chambers, Government House, Owerri, the state capital.
This edition of the meeting is filled with suspense as it is expected that the sponsors of the prevailing insecurity challenges bedeviling the state will be announced by the Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, as he had earlier promised.
Imoflash went round some parts of the state to feel the impulse of the citizens as the day of the meeting becomes closer.
We gathered from the field, that the people want peace to come back to Imo State,a state known widely for her great hospitality nature.
Imolites also want the government to not only name the sponsors, but, to have the political power to prosecute them to a logical end.
Recall that, Senator Hope Uzodimma, had upon assumption of office, announced a routine Stakeholders Meeting with Ndi Imo. The meeting is in series and presents an opportunity for the Governor to give account to Ndi Imo, the activities and direction of the Government in fast-tracking development to the State and as well, a discussion on the recent events in the State.
