Agogbuo urges Mbaitoli APC Expanded Executives to fish out members involved in anti- party activities

Members of the Mbaitoli Local Government Area All Progressives Congress APC Expanded Executives have been charged to help in fishing out party faithfuls involved in anti-party activities especially as the crunch time for the lifting of the embargo on political campaigns and rallies by the Independent National Electoral Commission approaches.

This call was made by the ever proactive and pragmatic Mbaitoli APC Chairman,Hon Chinonye Agogbuo when he held an all important strategic meeting with the expanded executives which comprises of the LGA officials and ward Chairmen at the council headquarters hall in Nwaoruebi.

He noted that the party has activated the necessary clauses in it's constitution and empowered the disciplinary committee to take immediate actions on erring members.

He said that those leaders who sponsor and support candidates in other political parties while still members of APC will be exposed soon

Agogbuo said that the era of members playing double standard is over, he urged members of the expanded executives not to be intimidated by what he described as 'Mushroom' parties, noting that as the party in power in Imo state, is battle ready and by the grace of the Almighty God will deliver 4/4 in the forth coming elections.

The Mbaitoli APC Chairman announced that the party in the LGA have composed the New Media team and that they will be inaugurated as soon as possible. The media team according to Agogbuo will be headed by the LGA Publicity Secretary with the 12 wards publicity secretaries and other media influencers and enthusiasts drawn across the various wards in the LGA as members

Agogbuo further complimented the Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma for performing wonders in the state despite the scarce resources.

He commended the Governor for his administration's recent donation of Armoured Tanks to the Nigerian force,saying that it will go a long way in reducing the level of insecurity in the state.

In their various submissions, Hon Kelechi Obi, Emma Nwokoro, Peter Asilonu, Barr Oruwari Ekene,Chibuzor Uwandu, Dr Charles Uzopuo, the Vice Chairman, Secretary,Auditor, Legal Adviser, Assistant Youth Leader and Ex Officio respectively pointed out the grey areas that needs short and long term measures to curb party faithfuls leaving.

They noted that motivation of party faithfuls should be paramount at the moment.

They proposed that the party should go on a ward tour in the LGA in order to reignite the party at the grassroot level

The Ward Chairmen/Chairperson of Umunoha, Amaike, Ubomiri, Ogbaku, Orodo Ward 'A' also made useful contributions on how the party should strategize to win elections.

The meeting was well attended by the LGA executives and the ward Chairmen
