Agogbuo tasks Mbaitoli APC LGA Executives on Performance
The All Progressives Congress APC, Mbaitoli Local Government Area Chairman, Hon. Chinonye Agogbuo, has charged the LGA Executives to ensure that they perform optimally in their various positions in order to position the party in the area as a formidable one that thrives in all ramifications.
The zestful Mbaitoli APC Chairman made this known when he played host to the LGA Executives of the party on Sunday, 20/02/2022, at Ezinihite Ward, home of Hon. Emeka Ahaneku, a House of Assembly intending aspirant. He urged them to be effective in the discharge of their duties, as the result of hard work is more work, He enjoined them never to let their guards down as the 2023 General Elections approaches, advising them to shun been used as tools to destabilize the party.
He used the opportunity to pledge his unflinching, unalloyed, unshakeable and unshrinking support and loyalty to the leader of the party in the state and the Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, who means well for Imolites, which he is showing by changing the face of governance in the state positively with many laudable achievements so far recorded in just over two years of his 3R Shared Prosperity Government.
He said, " I urge you to shun been used by enemies no matter the temptation of money given to play such roles that will put the party in jeopardy. Keep working hard, your track record is what will speak for you in order to be recognized for any position in future.
"I am 100% committed to protect the interests of the leader of our party, His Excellency, the Governor of Imo state, Senator Hope Uzodimma, He means well for Ndi Imo, having seen what he did yesterday, surprising the youths by showing so much love to them as a way of empowerment.
"The Governor has promised to do more and also will create more jobs in the state in few months time that will capture most of our youths. The road constructions are almost 80% completed and when that is done the Governor will face other projects.
"And also remember that the governor recently released lock up shops around the old stadium to the original owners without taking any penny from them. Our Governor deserves the best and Imolites are beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel after 2years in office.
During the course of the gathering, the host and the House of Assembly Hopeful in the LGA, Hon Emeka Ahaneku, declared his interest to run for the office of the state Assembly.
After making his intention known to the LGA EXCOs, the EXCOs unanimously agreed that the party will make sure that they get the best to represent them at the State Assembly and other positions, and that who ever gets the tickets after the primaries, will be supported fully.
The LGA APC woman leader, Lady, Hon. Isabella Asinobi and Lady Joy Ajoku said the opening and closing prayers respectively.
