Agogbuo holds strategic talks with Orodo Traditional Rulers, Village Heads and APC stakeholders

The All Progressives Congress APC Chairman in Mbaitoli Local Government Area, Hon Chinonye Agogbuo over the weekend held a very strategic meeting with the Traditional Ruler of Orodo, His Royal Highness, Eze Marcel Uzoegbu, the Okata of Ofekata, at his Palace. In attendance at the meeting were the Eze's cabinet members, Village Heads and selected leaders of Orodo Wards 'A and B' APC.

Agogbuo noted the importance of supporting the administration of Senator Hope Uzodimma,the Executive Governor of Imo State who has shown enough goodwill to the people of Orodo by appointing their sons and daughters in positions of trust.

He said that as the helmsman in Mbaitoli APC,it will not augur well if his community doesn't support the 3R Shared Prosperity Administration of Senator Uzodimma to show appreciation.

Agogbuo gave kudos to the Eze Marcel Uzoegbu led council and the village heads for exhibiting exemplary leadership to the community and encouraged them not to relent in ensuring that the existing peace in the area is sustained.

He advocated for Youths to be actively engaged in meaningful ventures in order to take their minds off crimes and other negative social vices like drug taking, arms bearing and prostitution.

Speaking,Eze Marcel Uzoegbu appreciated Agogbuo remembering home,he opined the popular Igbo saying that A person's Goodwill starts from home before going outside.

He said that Ezes are apolitical,but assured of his readiness to colloborate with government and good spirited individuals in ensuring Orodo keeps developing.

Also Speaking Eze Magnus Onyeka, the Eze Udo 2 of Ishi Orodo gave thumbs up to Senator Uzodimma for fulfilling his campaign promises,noting that indeed Imolites are now enjoying dividends of Democracy

The meeting later went into close door.
