Agogbuo enjoins APC affiliated groups to aggressively mobilize for Party
The All Progressives Congress APC, Mbaitoli Local Government Area Chairman, Hon Chinonye Agogbuo has enjoined groups affiliated to the party to ensure that the Party is aggressively mobilised to the grassroots in order to entice more persons to her folds, adding that politics is a game of numbers and cannot be left to an individual alone.
The youthful, energetic and vibrant Mbaitoli APC chairman made this known when he held an interactive session with the Party's Ward Chairmen in the LGA, Mbaitoli Chapter of Imo hope for Good Governance and Camp Hope Organization in his office on Tuesday. He reminded the groups of their number one objective, which is to work assiduously and diligently for the party's success in all strata. He urged them to always identify with the booth leaders and emphasized the importance of team work as he noted that one man can never make a forest.
Agogbuo charged the groups to map out plans to ensure that people are conscientise on the need to take advantage of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, ongoing continuous Voter's registration to revalidate and also register to get their PVCs. He promised to collaborate with the various wards leaders to provide the logistics for the PVC exercise. He said that with the victory of APC in the just concluded Ngor-Okpala Legislative bye election, it is safe to say that Imolites have realized that APC is the best party for the betterment of Imo state.
Agogbuo thanked the Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma for ensuring that dividends of Democracy are widely spread across the state. He appreciated the governor for having trust in sons and daughters of Mbaitoli by appointing them in Privileged Positions, and pledged the unalloyed and unflinching support of Mbaitoli people to the 3R shared prosperity government.
He said" I charged you to take the party to the grassroot, interact periodically with your booth leadership, We must deliver for Mbaitoli collectively. You must align with the party structures.
"The governor has special interest in Mbaitoli, he loves us and has showed it severally, we must not let him down. Our people must take into cognizance the importance of revalidation and registration of their PVCs. Mbaitoli has the number and we have to use it to our strength" He said.
Speaking, Hon Bourdillion Ebeniye and Pastor Chima Brown, the Mbaitoli coordinator of Camp Hope and Imo Hope for Good Governance respectively eulogized Hon Chinonye Agogbuo for the way he has been able to stem the tide in the party since his emergence, noting that peace, harmony, togetherness and oneness has returned to the party in the LGA. They pledged a vote of confidence on Agogbuo and to the leader of the party in the state, Senator Hope Uzodimma,who they described as a God sent to the people of the state, They promised to give maximum support to him.
Other speakers at the meeting all agreed to make Mbaitoli APC the envy of all.
