Agogbuo confident of APC landslide victory in 2023
The chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State, Hon Chinonye Agogbuo on Saturday 9/4/2023 expressed confidence in the ability of the party to clean sweep elective positions in the forthcoming General Elections in 2023.
He made this known when a House of Representatives aspirant for Mbaitoli/Ikeduru federal constituency, Engr. Akarachi Amadi paid a consultative visit to the LGA.
Agogbuo noted that with the very impressive performance of APC in the state under the leadership of the workaholic governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, Imolites have come to embrace the party. He said that with the victories of the party in the Bye Elections conducted since the assumption of Uzodimma in office, it is crystal clear that come 2023, the results will not be different. He had words of praise for the governor for his giant strides in transforming the State and noted that with the high quality of work being done by him, Imo has become the envy of all.
He told the gathering that the most populous candidates alone will get the party tickets and enjoined Engr Akarachi and indeed all other aspirants to widen their consultation levels and reach. He opined that as one of the biggest Federal Constituency in Nigeria, MBAIKE stands tall among equals and must be ready to swig the narrative to her favour based on her numerical strength.
He advocated for more grassroots mobilization for APC by all party faithfuls, admonised the ward and LGA Executives to take advantage of the ongoing Independent National Electoral Commission INEC Voter's registration to get more persons get their Permanent Voter's Card PVC.
He said, "MBAIKE have benefited immensely from the mega road projects going on in the state, from Owerri to Orlu road which cut across Mbaitoli and Owerri to Okigwe road, which passes through Ikeduru, there by making MBAIKE federal constituency one of the highest beneficiaries of the 3R shared prosperity government of our dynamic Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma".
Speaking earlier, Engr Akarachi Amadi highlighted some of his plans for the federal constituency and pleaded for support from the LGA. He assured that if elected, he will push for upliftment of all MBAIKE sons and daughters.
