Agogbuo charges APC aspirants on unity after Party primaries

An appeal has been made to Aspirants vying to be the flag bearers of the All Progressives Congress APC in the forthcoming 2023 General Elections to embrace peace and collectively work for the Party victory even when results do not go their way. The appeal was made by the Mbaitoli Local Government Area, All Progressives Congress APC Chairman, Hon Chinonye Agogbuo when Chief Ugochukwu Nwachukwu, a Senatorial aspirant for Owerri Zone paid a consultative visit to the party LGA and Ward executives.

Agogbuo was of the opinion that APC having a landslide victory in the general elections should be of tremendous interest not only to him but to all party leaders and faithfuls. He assured that the party will ensure a level playing ground for all the aspirants to test their popularity, reiterating that only popular aspirants will be the party's standard barer. He encouraged the aspirants to make the party a household name in the state by taking the APC message to the grassroots.

The dynamic and visionary Agogbuo applauded the Leader of the party in the state and South East, Senator Hope Uzodimma for enshrining internal democracy in the party, noting that APC has become a party to beat in the South East due to his unequalled leadership acumen. He appreciated Chief Ugochukwu Nwachukwu for coming to visit the LGA and encouraged him to continue his consultation drive across board. He opined that Mbaitoli being the largest LGA in the south east by voting strength will speak in unionism at the appropriate time.

In his remarks, Chief Ugochukwu Nwachukwu, popularly known as Ugo Sly appreciated the party executives for finding time out of their very busy itinerary to receive him, he outlined some of his plans for Owerri zone people if elected. He said as a worthy son of Mbaitoli, he understands the importance of having a senator from the LGA and promised not to let the people down if elected.
