Agogbuo adjure Ogwa Ward '2' APC stakeholders to continuously support the party resolutely
Leaders and Executives of All Progressives Congress APC in Ogwa Ward '2' have been adjured to continue their support for the party in the ward resolutely, especially now the country prepares to go in for another round of general elections next year. This charge was made by Hon Chinonye Agogbuo, Mbaitoli APC Chairman during a visit to his office by the stakeholders of Ogwa Ward '2' ably led by Hon Wilson Nwafor, Special Adviser to the Governor on Parks and Recreational gardens, Hon Ifeanyi Nnataraonye, Commissioner representing Owerri zone in Imo State House of Assembly Commission and Chief Duru Odunze,the ward Chairman.
Agogbuo noted that APC is the whale shark in the River and her members cannot be intimidated by members of what he described as Mushroom Parties. He enjoined them to win more souls for the party and promote and protect the image of the APC in their various localities.
He described Ogwa Ward '2' APC as a formidable unit and pleaded that any aggrieved stakeholders in the ward should shield their swords and come together to work for the victory of the party.
He thanked the Executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma for his recent appointment of an Ogwa Ward '2' son, Hon Nnataraonye Ifeanyi as a Commissioner in the Imo State House of Assembly Commission, saying that the appointment is well deserved.
The Mbaitoli APC Chairman also appreciated the Governor for aligning Imo state with National politics as this has brought lots of goodies to the state as can be exemplified with the recent visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to the state,his second within a year to commission signature projects of Governor Uzodimma.
Speaking, Hon Wilson Nwafor expressed optimism that the party in the LGA will deliver absolutely in the general elections. He commended Hon Chinonye Agogbuo for his Visionary leadership in the LGA and for ensuing peace and togetherness among members of the party.
The Chairman of Ogwa Ward '2' APC, Chief Duru Odunze reassured that the party in the ward is battle ready for the coming elections, he noted with excitement that Gov Uzodimma projects in the state has marketed the party positively to Imolites.
Hon Ifeanyi Nnataraonye, the Owerri Zonal commissioner in the Imo state House of Assembly Commission said that the ward will continue to be grateful to Gov Uzodimma for his goods works in the state,he also advised members of the party across board to embrace peace as a house divided against itself can never stand.
Fidel Ahanonu and Bobby Olekwara amongst other speakers promised to work together in ensuring that APC wins 4/4 in the Ward.
