2023 Elections: Agogbuo optimistic of APC Victory in Mbaitoli State Constituency

Hon. Chinonye Agogbuo, the chairman of All Progressives Congress APC in Mbaitoli Local Government Area has expressed optimism at the high probability and likelihood of the party to cruise to victory in Mbaitoli State House of Assembly election coming up next year. He made this known when a House of Assembly aspirant for the Mbaitoli state house of Assembly election under the APC, Engr. Innocent Ikpamezie 2023 hosted the Party's LGA and Ward executives on Thursday, May 19 2022.

The number one party man in Mbaitoli noted that with the high number of persons that picked the party's form in the LGA, it clearly shows that APC has become the darling of Ndi-Mbaitoli. He said that APC is fully on ground in the LGA and appreciated all the aspirants for entrenching and deepening the party's strength in the LGA by the aggressive campaign they have embarked on since the electioneering processes started. He called for peace, oneness and tolerance amongst the Party faithfuls in the LGA, noting that a house divided amongst itself cannot stand.

He reiterated that the party in the LGA will provide a level playing ground for all the aspirants to test their popularity, he said that Mbaitoli will go to the election with her first eleven. He cautioned against smear campaign amongst the aspirants and used the opportunity to call on the LGA and party executives to go on PVC sensitization drive across the various wards and ensure that party members get registered and revalidated using the window currently being provided by INEC.

Hon Agogbuo gave kudos to the leader of the party in the South East and the executive Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma for always ensuring that fairness and equity is enshrined in the activities of the party. He commended Uzodimma for his Infrastructural revolution in the state and promised the governor that Mbaitoli will not disappoint him for all the confidence he has bestowed on the LGA.

He advised Ikpamezie as he did for every aspirant that has visited the LGA party structure on the need to reach out to more relevant stakeholders and delegates, noting that politics is not a one man show.

Engr Innocent Ikpamezie promised to make the welfare and wellbeing of Ndi- Mbaitoli his priority if he emerges as not the party's flag bearer but as the lawmaker representing the LGA. He said that as a veteran,he won't go to the State House to learn but to make LGA voice loud in the community of LGAs.
