UNIPORT holds valedictory Senate session for Prof. Ejezie, Prof Akakuru and 9 others.
University of Port Harcourt UNIPORT, Choba in Port Harcourt held a valedictory Senate session for 11 of her retiring Professors. The Senate sitting was the 466th in the University's history.
Professor Samuel Ejezie and Professor Iheanacho Akakuru who are worthy Imolites were among the retiring Professors so honoured in the 466th University Senate sitting.
The event which took place at the Senate Chambers, in the University Senate building, University main park on Wednesday, 01/12/201 started by 10am on the dot.
The Senate building was full to it's brim as colleagues of the retiring scholars were all present to bid them farewell from Senate meetings.
Speaking at the session,the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Georgewill Owunari extolled the efforts, sacrifices and unparalleled service to the citadel of learning.
He, on behalf of management and staff of the institution wished them well in their future endeavors.
