Owerri, the Imo state capital was a shadow of it's busy self as residents partially obeyed the Sit at Home declared by the proscribed Indigenous people of Biafra IPOB, as their Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu went to court to answer charges leveled against him by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Although, Owerri has not been obeying the usual Sit at Home every Mondays, But, any day the leader goes to court, Residents tend to obey the order

Banks, Malls, Markets, schools and most shops were closed for business when Imoflash correspondent went round the city.

Most Government offices, were opened for businesses, but, witnessed low patronage.

Most roads were scantily deserted as few motorists were seen scrambling for the few passengers available.

From Okwige road, to bank road, to Douglas road, to Mbaise road, the situation was the same
