Sharp practices will not be acceptable in ISTMA- Uche

In line with the vision of the shared prosperity mantra of Gov. Hope Uzodimma and the ministry of transport headed by the Honourable Commissioner, Barr. Rex Anunobi to ensure road users obey traffic laws and decongest our roads, the Imo State Traffic Management Agency(ISTMA) was created to ensure the visions comes alive and well implemented.

The Public Transport Inspector in the Ministry of Transport, Comr. Frank Uche earlier today addressed the officers of ISTMA on the code of conduct and way further as he declared that sharp practices will not be acceptable in the agency.

He maintained that it has become necessary to intimate the officers on the code of conduct and way forward in other for them to key in and achieve the objectives of the shared prosperity government of Gov. Hope Uzodimma and the core mandates of which the agency was created under the auspices of the Ministry of Transport.

Comr. Uche frowned at habit of lateness to work by some officers and used the opportunity to warn them not to indulge in unwholesome and sharp practices that are not in line with the code of conduct guiding the agency or risk been punished by law and losing their jobs.

Furthermore, he encouraged them to continue educating and enlightening road users on the need to obey traffic laws and lights within the state capital and to obey the new order on one way parking in Owerri in order not to found wanting in the eyes of the law.
