Renovation work at Dee Sam Mbakwe Country Home inspected by Hon. Ineh
At the Mandate of His Excellency, Dist. Senator Hope Uzodinma, the Honorable Commissioner for Housing, Lady, Dr. love Ineh in the Company of her Permanent Secretary and other members of her Administrative team undertook a site Inspection at the ongoing renovation work at the late Dee Sam Mbakwe Country residence in Obowo.
Recall, that during the Stakeholders Meeting on the 3rd of January 2022, Governor Uzodinma highlighted the ongoing renovation of Dee Mbakwe country home as one of the priority objectives of the Housing Sector for the first quarter of the Year. And in line with that promise, the renovations have kicked off in earnest as could be seen during the site visitation today.
The Country Home of the late former Governor comprises of a Main Duplex, two storey Buildings, Staff Quarters, a one storey Staff Quarters, Security building, Plant House, water treatment building and a swimming pool. The property is also currently undergoing roofing work which has attained completion of about 80% Capacity.
Additionally, Aluminium Casement, windows and the perimeter fencing is currently undergoing massive upgrade as well as the Electrical and plumbing maintenance work.
The Honorable Commissioner for Housing Commended the Level of execution and delivery put up by the contractors whilst urging them to maintain complete compliance acceptable Standards. She assured them that the Governor was Fully committed towards fulfilling his promises by ensuring that the Project sees its completion.
