Police Foil Robbery Attempt in Owerri Road, kills 2 Gun men

Anambra state Police Command have foiled a robbery attempt along Owerri - Onitsha road, killing 2 armed gun men and arrested four others.

The names of the armed men gunned down are Chinedu Okeri and Chukuebuka Orizu while Abuchi Osim was arrested with bullet wounds.

Abuchi led the uniform men to the criminals hideout where other suspects were arrested. 2 Pistols, 5 cartridges and a tricycle were recovered from the men of the underworld.

An eyewitness told Imoflash.com that the robbers met their waterloo while robbing residents at Owerri Road. The police were informed of the attack and they swung into action, gunning down two of the suspects and arrested four others.
