Ozumba reiterates Imo Government commitment to Unemployment Reduction
The Commissioner of Labour and Productivity, Chief Stan Ozumba has reiterated the 3R Shared Prosperity Government of Senator Hope Uzodimma to the reduction of unemployment rate in the state, by ensuring the Productivity level in the state is continuously improved on.
Ozumba made this known when the Imo state Executives of National Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE paid him a courtesy visit in his office on Tuesday. He noted that his ministry will partner with all necessary sectors of the economy to ensure that the Youths of the state are gainfully engaged.
He thanked members of NULGE in the state for the visit and promised to look into all the matters raised during the discussion. He enumerated some of the Imo state Governor's achievements just within two years in office.
Speaking earlier on, the Imo state Chairman of NULGE, Pastor Dr. Richard Eze, commended His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma on the appointment of chief Ozumba., describing the appointment as a round peg in a round hole.
He noted that he was the most credible appointee for such a position and at such a period. He pledged to collaborate with tye ministry on areas of interest.
In attendance were top directors of the ministry and the Special Adviser on Skill Acquisition to the Imo state Governor, Honorable Chidi Onyebuchi.
