Notorious Armed Robber killed by Residents in Owerri
The saying "Everyday for the thief and one day for the owner of the house" came to fulfilment yesterday when many woke up to see that a notorious armed robber and leader of a terrorizing gang by name, "Gbaka Door" has been killed.
Information has it that the armed robber who specialize in robbering innocent people within Emekuku, Egbu, Emii and Awaka and its environ, was hacked to death by angry mob.
According to report, the armed-to-the-tooth robber was overpowered by angry mob when he and his gang wanted to rob some people last night under gun point. An eye witness account revealed that the armed robber was unlucky to have been caught as some of his gang members were lucky to have escaped with injuries.
The lifeless body of the armed robber, was on display at Nkwo Emeke market place venue of the crime where people came to catch a glimpse at the notorious criminal before police came and evacuated the body.
We may recall that the activities of this criminal elements within Owerri North LGA has been worrisome and on increase in recent time, as people could not sleep with their eyes closed because of such criminal elements living with the people.
This armed robber is a native of Umuahia in Abia State and he lives in Azaraowalla Emekuku as a tenant according to media information.
