NAISS National President pledges to revive all chapters nationwide
The National President of National Association of Imo State Students NAISS, Comr Umukoro Marvis Udechukwu has promised to revive all the chapters of the Association Nationwide.
He made this known during his tour of some campuses in the state today. According to a statement by his media aide and made available to Imoflash, the president promised total commitment to the welfare of all NAISS members
The statement reads below
"Some members of the Executive Council of NAISS were at The Federal Polytechnic Nekede to monitor the Polytechnic Student's Union Government (SUG) election today. The election which was conducted via electronic voting held at the school's ICT Center. Many students came out very enthusiastic to exercise their franchise.
The National President of NAISS, Comr Umukoro Marvis Udechukwu led some NAISS executives that included the Vice President on Internal Affairs and Special Duties, Comr. Paul Miracle E, the NAISS Traditional Ruler, HRH Orji Ifeanyi, the Financial Secretary, Comr. Odor Justin, Director of Contact and Mobilization, Comr. Christopher Amadi, Director of Transport, Comr. Chizitere Peters, Director of Welfare, Comr. Thankgod Chibuike Amuzienwa and the Provost.
The election also witnessed a high presence of various student union leaders in the state in attendance, they include Comr. Okereke Godson C. Bishop (Convener ICC and former NASS Zone B Coordinator), Comr. Ezekiel Sunday Anyalewechi, amongst others.
The President of NAISS used the opportunity to congratulate the newly elected SUG Officials and wish them a fruitful stay in office.
Afterwards, in his administration bid to restore the Image of the National Association of Imo State Students (NAISS) and and total commitment to revive all chapters nationwide, The National President and his team went to Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education for their chapter elections today also. The election which witnessed massive turnout of delegates from each Local Government in the State produced a new chapter leadership. In his speech,Comrade Udechukwu charged the new leadership to align with the National body's vision of repositioning NAISS in line with the mantra 'Better Days Ahead'" .
