The 8th Substantive Vice-Chancellor (VC) of FUTO, Professor Mrs. Nnenna N. Oti, on 10th November 2021, visited the Headquarters of the 34 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army situated at Obinze, Owerri as part of her administration's familiarization schedule.
The VC, who went in the company of the University Management, used the avenue to discuss some pressing needs of the institution in respect of security and allied matters.
In his response, the Commander of the Brigade in the person of Brigadier General Raymond Utsaha, having appreciated the VC and her team, assured the Management of the unalloyed support of his Command.
The high point of the outing was the presentation of a plaque to the FUTO Management via the VC by the Army Commander, signifying their visit to the Brigade.
