IMSU: Final year Students in ecstatic mood as CASOR celebrates members
As Imo State University concludes lectures for the semester this week, the students of Christ Ambassador Outreach (CASOR) were in a joyfull mood last Sunday 24th April as the final year students were celebrated in grand style in a thanksgiving service to mark the end of their academic journey in the school, Campus Diary can exclusively report.
The Thanksgiving service was held on Sunday the 24th of April 2023 at the meeting ground on the last floor of the new ETF building and was well attended by CASOR members, invited guest of the final year students, family members and friends.
To mark the memorable occasion, students made merry, danced to melodious songs, play flip up games and enjoyed a delicious snack afterwards.
Farewell messages was delivered to the graduating students afterwards as individuals offered words of encouragement to the graduating set.
In an exclusive interview with campus diary correspondent, Igwe Favour, one of the final year students, Benjamin Favour of mass communication said.
"I feel so Good, finally I will be leaving this prestigious University, despite the challenges. I’m so proud of myself academic accomplishment so far.
My advise for students who are still in other lower levels is for them to remain focused, be strong and trust in God because he is the answer to everything.” Benjamin said.
Olivia Onyeukwu of mass communication department also added her voice as she shared her experience after the final year Thanksgiving service.
“I enjoyed myself alot duing this service. from the worship session down to the games, it was indeed a mind blowing experience for me.”
IMSU final year students will begin their exams next week while lectures for the semester has already been concluded.
