IMSG flags off roads construction in Ngor- Okpala
The Imo State Government today flagged-off the construction of Ulakwo-Umuaro-Nguru-Umunneke road in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area.
The Commissioner for Works, Barrister Ralph Nwosu who represented the Governor while addressing community leaders of Ngor Okpala stated that the road will be completed in record time.
The Commissioner assured the community leaders of the readiness of His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma to give a solid and befitting facelift to the road, plus other critical roads within the LGA.
Barrister Ralph Nwosu called on the community leaders to accord maximum support and cooperation to the contractor handling the project in other to deliver the road within record time.
While speaking during the Flagg off, Hon Blyden thanked His Excellency Dist. Sen Hope Uzodimma for Continuing with this project while assuring his people that more infrastructural and developmental projects are been lobbied to be sited at Ngor Okpala under the Shared prosperity led administration of the Governor.
He however Charged the Contractor to hit the ground running and called on the people of Nguru and other communities where this road cut across to work with the Contractor and help to safeguard the materials and other Earth Moving equipments
In his response on behalf of the benefiting communities, Chief Obinna Okenze assured the Commissioner of their maximum support towards the completion of the project. Chief Okenze commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for his giant strides in infrastructural development of Imo State since the inception of his administration.
