Imo Speaker donates Borehole to Obowo Community
Water, as an essential part of life and daily living, plays a central and critical role in all aspects of human existence. Nobody survives without clean and hygenic water.
In the Spirit of Shared prosperity administration of Governor Hope Uzodinma, and to ensure there is water for the people of Imo State, the Speaker Of Imo State House Of Assembly, Rt Honourable Kennedy Ibeh has delivered to the people of NNEBI NA ASONYE UMUARIAM COMMUNITY OF OBOWO LGA a long-standing desire of their ❤️ Hearts, Portable water for the improvement of their living standard.
It should be noted that the State Government under the shared Prosperity leadership of Hope Uzodinma Has embarked on massive Construction and rehabilitation to effectively restore water supply to Orlu urban, Okigwe urban, Ekenguru town ,etc, after more than 15 years. Meanwhile, Water production and treatment facilities at the popular Otamiri Water works have fully rehabilitated, and parts of Owerri the State capital, like Aladinma, Ikenegbu, Onitsha road, World Bank Housing Estate, Prefab Estate, Owerri Nchi-ise, etc gets water.
To ensure that the Vision of Governor Hope Uzodinma of WATER FOR ALL is taken to every Community in the State, especially, ensuring that Obowo State Constituency gets clean water, and to cushion the stress of walking long distances to the stream, Rt Honourable Kennedy Ibeh embarked on sinking of borehole water for consumption for the people of NNEBI NA ASONYE UMUARIAM COMMUNITY of Obowo, with State of the Art facilities. This show of love by the Speaker, can be likened to the parable of the Good Samaritan in the Bible, who demonstrated great care and love for a wounded robbery victim, by rushing him to get adequate treatment from a hospital.
Other Communities in Obowo State Constituency have been marked to benefit from Mr Speaker's similar selfless Projects.
