IMO MINISTRY OF HOUSING UNDERTAKES MASSIVE SITE INSPECTIONS
The Imo State Ministry of Housing and Urban Development yesterday undertook massive Inspections across 3 Strategic sites at various locations in the Owerri municipal.
Accompanied by her entourage and the top management staffs of the ministry, the Honorable Commissioner for Housing, Lady Dr. love Ineh first visited the ongoing fence construction at the Ahianjoku Center, New Owerri to Supervise the Work and ascertain the level of progress being made.
The Management team Subsequently moved to the Royal Spring Palm Apartments and Hotels which at some point was a point of contention between the previous Governor and the current administration but was however ceded to the latter as a result of the findings of the white paper.The purpose of this Visit was to carry out site analysis, and calibrate plans on how to effectively return the property to maximal capacity with the intent of providing affordable Housing for prospective residents.
The final stop was at the Ojukwu Center,the purpose was to asess the quality of work done on the property and also to discover the required facilities needed for further work on the building.
In company of the Honorable Commissioner were the Permanent Secretary, Lady Hope Anyiam, the Chief Technical Adviser, Engr. Odo Ijere and other Directors of and Heads of Departments of the Ministry.
