In a colourful ceremony, the family of State Youth Leader, of the All Progressives Congress, APC Imo State, Comrade Udoka Iwueke, on Sunday, January 23, 2022 dedicated their son, Master David Prosper Chiemerie Udoka to God.
The Child Dedication and Thanksgiving mass took place at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Amato autonomous community in Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State.
The officiating Priest in his homily thanked God for the gift of the baby and enjoined the parents to ensure that the child is brought up with the fear of God. He noted that children during their formative lives, take up the characters around them, hence, he cautioned Comrade Udoka and his wife to always check the type of lifestyles and characters around the little David.
Comrade Udoka during the church Thanksgiving made a handsome donation to the building of the Parish, He elisted some of the developmental achievements of the 3R Administration of His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma of Imo State and encouraged the people of the locality to continue to support the Governor in order to fulfill all his numerous plans for Imolites. He prayed for good health and long life for the Governor and members of his administration.
The upward mobile political activist, Comrade Udoka, while welcoming his guests at the reception party in his country home, expressed gratitude to God for His faithfulness and thanked his friends and associates who in spite of their individual busy schedules, joined his family to appreciate God.
Speaking to Imoflash correspondent, The visibly excited mother of the baby, Mrs Eucharia Iwueke, thanked God for blessing her home with David, she thanked her husband for being very supportive during the pregnancy and child birth.
Dignitaries at the event included, The Obowo Local Government Area, APC Chairman,Hon. Pius Uwaleme who led all the APC ward Chairmen in the LGA. Others are Alike APC Youth Leader, Hon. Onyebuchi Ibeh, Hon Chika Osueke, Alike APC chairman, Hon Samuel Okafor, Chairman of all Chairmen Umuariam APC, Hon Davidson Ugo, Amuzi APC Youth Leader amongst others.
