Hon Love Ineh Inspects Projects, Urges Efficient Delivery
The Imo State Honorable Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Dr Love Ineh, on Thursday 13/01/2022 supervised the ongoing renovation of the the Imo State House of Assembly Complex.
She was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary, Lady Hope Anyiam, the Head Of Architectural Department, Kelechi Ume, Head of Estate and Urban Development, The Public Relations Officer, Amongst other Principal Officers of the Ministry.
During the Inspection, The Honorable Commissioner charged the contractor, Punz Nigeria Ltd, to ensure that the project is being carried out in time and delivered according to International Standards. She further stated that the Ministry will undertake subsequent routine checks on the ongoing project pending its Completion.
In his remarks, The lead contractor, explained that the Project was being renovated according to acceptable standards. He explained that the new roofing sheet had been fully completed, also in progress were the the new floor tiling, Repairs of cracked pillars and walls are in progress, New ceiling work at the Chamber, Removal of all defective Doors, Windows, Toilet Facilities, New lift shaft and Installation of New Aluminum Fascia Boards Amongst Others.
In the events succeeding that, She was accompanied by her entourage to Inspect some other Government Properties at some strategic locations in the Owerri Municipal. Some of which included the Area W Housing Estate, Some properties at the Area N Housing Estate as well as Okigwe Road, Government Estate, beside IMSU Junction Owerri.
