FUTO VC, Prof. Oti Speaks At NANS Security Summit, Harps On Competence

The 8th Substantive Vice-Chancellor (VC) of FUTO, Prof. Mrs. Nnenna N. Oti was a Guest Speaker at the just concluded National Security Summit organized by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).
In her paper presented on the occasion titled "Education as a tool for ending Youth Involvement in Insecurity", the Amazon strongly informed the youth that their destiny was in their hands, hence urged them to live up to the expectations.
Prof. Oti, who however opined that she could foresee a Nigeria where the youth would be more valuable and respected, told members of the gathering to always think of what they could do for the country, rather than the reverse.
The event - which took place on 4th November 2021 at the Merit House, Maitama, Abuja - had the SA on Youth and Student Affairs to President Muhammadu Buhari, Comr. Nasir Adhama as the Host.
It's noteworthy that other well notable dignitaries were in attendance to the epochal ceremony.
