The Children at the orphanage homes were not left out as the Imo State First Lady, Her Excellency Barr. (Mrs.) Chioma Uzodimma, in collaboration with the Ministry of Women Affairs and Vulnerable Groups held a Christmas fanfare for over 150 Children drawn from 15 orphanage homes across the State.
The event which held at the Children's Recreation Park opposite the Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu's Square (RANKS) featured different game activities that enticed the Children and made their Christmas celebration memorable.
Her Excellency initiated this in order to spread the Christmas love across and for the Children to join in the merriment. The highlight of the event was Santa Claus gifting the Children.
As preached earlier by His Excellency, the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, it is a season of love, let the love go round.
